Shoal Creek Chateau is Waiting for You!

We are on the water of Shoal Creek, in Florence, AL. We are near Florian, AL; Convenient drives from downtown Florence, AL and Muscle Shoals, AL.

We can comfortably sleep 16 people, and all reservation prices include guests up to this number. If you are interested in having more guests, either day or over night, let our host know, and we can make arrangements for larger parties at a price of $50 per day per guest. Additional pricing is due to additional insurance coverage needs for parties above 16. We can even do events! For more info, see below.

Absolutely! We love to host celebrations, both great and small! For events (up to 50 people), we charge a one time fee of $1,000 in addition to the rental cost. This covers additional insurance and cleaning/maintenance. Contact our host to make event arrangements and recommendations for local vendors, if needed!

We have a single person kayak, and a paddle board, paddles provided. We also have lots of life vests for adults and children. Unfotunately, we are not allowed to provide inflatables, but we encourage you to bring your own, as the creek is an amazing place to take a dip or enjoy a paddle. It is a deep creek, and can have strong currents, so warn your swimmers to ALWAYS have a life vest and NEVER swim alone.

Our regular check-in time is 3 pm on the first day of your booking, but if you need an earlier time, let your host know and we can check availability. Additional charges may apply.

Regularly, check-out time is 10 am on the last day of your reservation, but likewise, we can make other arrangements depending on availability. Additional charges may apply.

We have four bedrooms (2 with king beds, 1 with a queen bed, 1 with twin bunkbeds totaling 4 full sized beds), and three full bathrooms. Additionally, the office has a convertible Murphy-bed chest that we leave folded out to a queen sized bed. And finally there are 4 roll-away cots, and a baby's bassinet (can be found in closets). All linens and towels are freshly cleaned before your arrival by our amazingly talented and caring staff. Our most common compliment is cleanliness!
